PAINT PROTECTION FILM / PPF WRAP

A Tough Defense Against The Harsh Road.

WHAT IS PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF)

PPF is flexible and thick film wrapping on the car paint surface as an almost invisible super armor to protect your car from stone chips, scratching etc. Our ceramic coating service provides reliable protection from chemical contamination. However, if you drive often on highway and back road,  PPF is the finest protection for all kinds of mechanical impact.

We use SunTek Paint Protection Film which is scientifically formulated to help maintain the beauty and integrity of vehicle finishes for many years, in all kinds of weather. It’s a combination of innovative film technologies that we stand behind with a 5 year manufacturer warranty.

PPF comes in either optically clear high gloss or a matte finish that can be used to create specialty effects. Our top-performing film is applied to the surface of the vehicle to create a barrier against water, insects, road debris, and other stains. With either finish, there are benefits of self-healing film and our proprietary HydroResist™ technology.

SunTek PPF is available with a stronger adhesive for an overall quicker installation.

Self-Healing Coating -  Slight abrasions, scratches or outdoor hazards can be easily averted with these time-tested products.

Improvd Gloss - Silicone elements in the substrate also enhance the original paint producing a smooth high-gloss finish.

Stain Resistence - The anti-stain protection is a self-cross-linking technology that enhances coating properties, such as hardness, water, and solvent resistance.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM FAQ

Why install Paint Protection Film?

Paint Protection Film (PPF / Clear Bra) was designed to protect your cars high impact areas from stone chips, swirl marks, dirt and road debris ultimately keeping the car looking new and saving you from costly repairs when it comes time to sell the car.

Does PPF resist yellowing?

Yes, it resists yellowing because the film is constructed of thermoplastic urethane, a tough, conformable material that is covered by a clear coat layer. The film and clear coat layers contain UV protectants to counteract harmful ultraviolet rays that can cause yellowing.

Will PPF damage the paint if I remove it?

We would recommend to contact us if you want to remove the film, however if the film is properly applied to a fully cured painted vehicle, it can be removed, usually in one piece, without damaging paint surfaces beneath the film and allowing reapplication if needed in an event of an accident.

How to maintain PPF?

Once your film is applied, Please do not wash the car for 5-7 days until the film has fully cured. No special after-care is needed other than washing your car with your normal wash procedure (2 Bucket Method suggested always to avoid paint damage during the wash process)

Can I Wax, Sealant or Ceramic Coating over PPf?

Yes, for most applications we protect your vehicle with a Polymeric Sealant or Ceramic Coating as part of our packages. However if you chose to do this yourself, when waxing the vehicle, some wax may build up along the film edges. This can easily be removed when dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any waxes containing dyes or waxes as this may effect the film clarity and durability.
